The Site Faced Restrictions Due To A Tree Preservation Order (TPO) And Restricted Planning Area (RPA), Situated At The Property's Forefront. The challengeThe presence of a Tree Preservation Order (TPO) and Restricted Planning Area (RPA) posed significant challenges to the project. These regulations imposed strict limitations on the development site, particularly concerning the preservation of existing trees and the management of the surrounding landscape.Compliance with these regulations required careful planning and precise execution to ensure minimal disturbance to the protected trees and their environment. The solutionTo overcome these hurdles, we tackled the project by deploying a grid comprising 41 x 114mm x 2100mm high load-bearing Ground Screws so vehicles over 40 tonnes can use the road. This strategic approach ensured the distribution of loads into point loads, effectively averting pressure on the tree root system. Our comprehensive services encompassed GPR Survey, GPS Marking, as well as the installation and fabrication of ground screws with steel rails and grid infills.
